Brainstorming the next hackathon

This evening, Tuesday May 15, Hacks/Hackers Philadelphia hosts a session focused on “tips and tactics for locating, cleaning, and displaying data,” along with a brainstorming session for an upcoming Philly hackathon, hosted by Random Hacks of Kindness.

The event will also feature a brief demo of projects surfaced during the Open Gov hackathon held recently at Temple University as part of BarCamp News Innovation.

Tonight’s Meetup starts at 6:30 p.m., and will be held in the Municipal Services Building, across from City Hall.

6:45 – 7:30 Lightning talks of tips, tactics, suggestions on wrangling data
7:30 – Demo/report back from Open Gov “News” hackathon during BarCamp News Innovation
